Etched In The Stars and owner Deb Jowett would like to say thank you to all their clients and friends for making 2009 such a successful year. During some rough economic times Etched In The Stars continues to breed some excellent mares and his foals are still selling. Deb would like to thank everyone that bred their mare or bought offspring this year. Deb wants to wish everyone good luck with their little "Stars". Etched In The Stars offspring are destined for greatness.
Etched In The Stars
“This has been a wonderful year”, comments Deb. “I have sold all my 2 year olds and have only 3 yearlings left. With just a small number of his babies on the ground he has sired a lot of World Class offspring”.
Deb could not be happier with “Regis” as a sire. “When I went looking for a yearling stallion to buy I narrowed it down to three,” recalls Deb. “All three of these studs are in the top 10 in the world in different events. I have never regretted my decision to buy “Regis”. He has only made me affirm that I made the right decision. It is such a thrill to see World Class babies by him. His oldest colts will be going to the pen next year. He is siring height, disposition, and movement. Like his sire, Deck Of Stars, Regis is throwing western and hunt seat horses and even a few that are going to the hunter jumper world.”
It is just so wonderful to hear the comments from my clients. Judy Martin bought Etch Me If You Can – aka Lola - right off the dam and then bought her older sister also. Judy Martin is from De Forest Wisconsin and said she had been all over looking for prospects and couldn’t find what she liked and came here and bought 2. The older one is by Regis – half brother to Duplicated Deck. Judy showed this one and was a point earner first time out. Judy thinks Lola is better and is planning on breaking her and showing her in 2010. Judy says Lola puts her head level and just floats across the pen. She said she has a big sweepy trot and a deep lope. Lola also loves attention and wants to please.

Congratulations to Allison from Madison, WI on purchasing a 2 year old gelding, Honest To Goodness Star, aka, Titan. Allison is planning on competing in the hunter jumper with him. He is very big bodied and Allison says he has such a big step. He is also very easy to be around and quick to train. This is Titan, started over fences. Allison has since returned and has picked 4 horses for her and for clients.

Congratulations also to Charleen Chadwell who is the breeder Etch A Star. Christin is planning on showing her western next year and depending on how fast she grows, will show her in hunt seat after that. Charleen has had 2 other babies out of this mare. Both have ROMs in Open and Amateur and qualified for the AQHA World Show in hunt seat. Charleen feels her “Regis” baby is a better loper and a better trotter than the other Etch a Star (the bay2007 MARE) aka Chenel. Charleen feels like this one has got it all, jog long trot and lope. Like all of “Regis” babies she has also got the disposition that is so easy to train and be around. She also string tests to be 16'2. Charleen sold the dam of Etch A Star a couple of years ago. Deb was thrilled to have found this mare and added her to her broodmare band, so there will be more babies just like this one.

Ledena Good Culp from Oragan bought Date A Star For A Nite right off a video. She absolutely loves her. She plans on showing her next year in the hunt seat and then the driving. Wynonna is a three quarter sister to a multiple Congress Champion and multiple top ten in the World and Congress. We have been told that Wynonna is even a better loper than her brother and has a trot to die for. She loves attention and a “wants to please” attitude. This is a world class filly. Watch for her next year.

Ima Big Star Now and Seattles Design Star have both been consigned to the AQHA World Show Sale on November 14, and 15, 2009. Seattles Design Star has produced multiply world show qualifiers and ROMs in open and amateur competition. She will mature to 16.3 or 17 hands and is almost black. Her dam has never produced red or chestnut.
Seattles Design Star
Iam Big Star Now has also been consigned to the World Show Sale. Her dam's oldest foal is just getting tot he show pen but will make a great hunter jumper horse. She should mature to 17.1 hands.

Regis For Petes Sake is out of a mare that has produced a 2 time World Champion and is now deceased so Deb is keeping this filly back. Shania is a World Class filly also.
